As part of a practise match England XI played a 3-day match with India A which has been ended up by draw which was expected at the 1st day of the match. But few stars like Mukund, Tiwary, Yuvraj shined for India, Players like Cook and Samit patel shined for England although the match has been a good practise for both the teams. Yuvraj Singh has has taken 5 wickets for the first time in a first class cricket. Scores are as follows

England - 426

Second Innings

India - 124 for 4 Wickets

Result - Match has been Drawn.

A three day practice match b/w India A and England XI is turning out to be an impressive match afetr an overnight score of 369/9 India was allout for 369 ( A Mukund - 73, Yuvraj Singh - 59 & Manoj Tiwary - 93 ). Alister cook Captain of England batted very well for his 112 Not out to put England in a winning stream and was supported well by Trott ( 56 ).

Samit Patel has scored a very impressive 82 giving support to his captain and still out in the middle.By the end of todays session (day 2) England lost 4 wickets and scored 286 with Cook and Samit Not out. Its been a hard day for Indian Bowlers ( Yuvraj - 2/52, Dinda - 1/46 & Raina - 1/43 ).

Permission Granted For India - Pakistan Series( Home Dept )

The Indian Home Ministry led by Minister Sushil Shinde today gave clearance to the upcoming Pakistan tour of India in December-January. The clearance has come following a meeting between top BCCI officials and the home ministry officials in New Delhi.

India and Pakistan are set to play a short series of 3 ODIs and 2 T20Is. The Pakistan team is expected to arrive for the tour on December 22. Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bangalore, New Delhi and Kolkata have been listed as the venues for the matches. The full scheduled is yet to be released though by the BCCI. It will be five years since a bilateral series takes place between the arch-rivals. The last time was in 2007 in India.

There is no doubt that a series between India and Pakistan brings out a lot of excitement and high quality cricket. But there are many in India who do not appreciate India hosting Pakistan at this stage as the latter has always been using terror against the former. Pakistan hasn’t co-operated with India regarding the 26/11 terror attacks. The plot of the terror attack and the training related to it were all done in Pakistan. Despite all that, the Series between India and Pakistan is all set to happen. There is also a security concern for India as fans from Pakistan come over to watch the matches but some of them end up missing. There were reports in the past that the missing spectators had vested interests of carrying out terror attacks in India.
